How much money will I earn with Adsense?

If you look at Google’s AdSense program, you probably wonder how much you could earn with such a program, and you probably think you can’t earn as much as you can with traditional advertising programs.
Google, of course, keeps a lot of secret about how much AdWords advertisers pay for every click directed to their site and the same applies for the amount that AdSense banner holders make of their websites.
Although there is nothing official, rumors are circulating on the Internet about how much money a website can make using AdSense. And many people (illegally) disclose how much they have earned with AdSense. There are stories of people collecting over a thousand dollars a month using AdSense.
There are also stories of people over $100,000 a month, but it’s a little hard to believe. The truth about this is that if you have a small website and you just want it to be autonomous, and you don’t want to reach your pocket for its maintenance costs, you can probably do it with AdSense.
AdSense is also very good for people who host a lot of pages. Even though these pages don’t generate a lot of traffic individually, every click counts and you can make a lot of money doing so. And this proves that sometimes quantity counts almost as much as quality.
It is impossible to know how much money you will earn using Google AdSense, but you can somehow say for yourself, before you start, taking a few things into consideration.
First, the number of visits you receive each day. While there is no way to accurately estimate this, you can usually make a safe assumption that if you have a lot of clicks per day, you will earn a lot of money.
Also, it depends on what your site is exactly on. If your site is something popular (music, sex, whatever) you are bound to get a lot of banner clicks. These have an associated coefficient, called CTR (click through ratio).
Basically, this means that if a large portion of your site’s visitors click on ads, you will earn more money. And the best way to do this is to have popular content on your site, making sure that the links also direct users to popular articles.
Then, of course, there is the position and number of ads on your website. Although you don’t want to overdo it, having many links will undoubtedly generate more revenue for you as a webmaster. Don’t think, however, that if you simply add a lot of ads to an important part of your site, visitors might still ignore them (and rest assured that many do).
There is something between an art and a science to position your ads. People usually look in some places and never look in others, and knowing this a website author and/or webmaster can do a lot to increase their revenue with AdSense.
Overall, the amount of money you earn with AdSense depends on many factors. But if you have a site with interesting content and/ or many pages, and if you constantly see a large amount of traffic every day, you can bet that you will make a lot of money with AdSense.
Even if you are not in the above categories, AdSense is still worth using because there is very little hassle in setting it up, and many times it can help financially to support the site, while being a nice bonus to get by mail at the end of the month.
